Raise awareness of kidney disease + the importance of getting screen
Due April 30th, 2010 -
Your help is needed to spread the word about chronic kidney disease, and to inspire people to learn more about the disease and get screened for it. The purpose of this contest is to obtain a 30-second video that powerfully raises awareness about chronic kidney disease and the importance of getting screened for it.
Videos must be exactly 30 seconds, and suitable for television.

Prizes
If you are a non-Restricted Participant and you win this contest, you’ll receive $1,000, and an additional $1,000 will be awarded to the department of film, journalism or broadcasting at the school of your choice.
If you are a Restricted Participant (kidney patient or family member) and you win this contest, you will not receive any cash prize, and the $2000, in its entirety, will be awarded to the department of film, journalism or broadcasting at the school of your choice, so long as you are not affiliated or otherwise officially connected or associated with the selected school.
The winning video will be featured on the DaVita Kidney Awareness Run/Walk website, and may also be featured on the DaVita®, Tour DaVita™ and The Kidney TRUST™ websites and potentially on television and/or other websites.
Eligibility
Must be US resident, 18 years of age or older. Restricted Participants include current dialysis patients, diagnosed chronic kidney disease (CKD) patients, and their immediate family members.
LEGO wants you to explore the "BREAKOUT" storyline through your own unique perspective, by creating a 30-90 second animated or animation/live action blend video that will generate buzz and excitement for Hero Factory. Feel free to push the envelope - after all, only THE ENTIRE UNIVERSE is at stake.
