Are you creative? Make a film trailer, based on a book that hasn't

Announcing a Contest for the best film trailer based on a mystery novel. Must be in digital format., film or video, even animation! $1,000 first prize plus endorsement of winner as consultant for the full length movie production when made. The trailer will be on Youtube as part of viral marketing campaign so the winner will get great exposure. An online film screening is being planned for the top ten entries for even more publicity.
The novel upon which the trailer must be based, intracoastal , has a publication date of October 7, 2010 through the commercial publisher Shadow Line Press. The film itself has not been made and the film rights are actively for sale.
Entries must be submitted by July 1, 2010. There is no entry fee. Film and video makers of all ages and experience are invited to use their creative talents to produce an exciting hook to draw potential readers to the web site.
Rules:
Entries must be 20-120 seconds long, may be produced with live actors or not, may even be animated, though what we are looking for is a theatrical style fast paced preview.
The trailer must be based upon the synopsis and sample chapters provided on this website. Due to pre-publicaton contractual agreements with the publisher, a complete manuscript of the novel cannot be provided at this time.
If live actors are used, model releases for all of them must be provided before your entry is accepted.
The name of the book, Intracoastal, must be included along with the website address, www.intracoastalmystery.com. We are looking for something that will intrigue the viewer and make them want to see more. Something, in short that, if you got in an email you would want to forward to your friends. So creativity is paramount.

Prize

We may choose additional first prize winners for the same prize amount if it is too difficult to narrow the selection to only one.
Other winners, if any are selected, constituting the top ten will be awarded merit awards of $100 each.
