Due April 6th, 2010 - Seven Bar Foundation provides the strongest, most effective poverty alleviation tool to women – microfinance. Microfinance is the difference between giving someone money and teaching them how to make it themselves, Women are provided with small loans to start or grow small businesses, allowing them to become economically self-sufficient. Seven Bar Foundation is a social enterprise using the power branding to fuel its microfinance fund consistently via its causemarketing campaigns, European lingerie shows and recycling microfinance
returns.

With $180,000, the Seven Bar Foundation has financed 2,233 impoverished women to start their own businesses in India, Mexico and Brazil impacting 6,699 children with mothers who can provide them with medical and education services. This year we aim to double our fund size. By submitting your video content, you are directly extending the reach/impact of our foundation and the ability to drive sustainable revenue through an innovative model.

The Seven Bar Foundation takes great pride in our brand symbol - the ladder - it represents an exit strategy out of poverty - aka: a step up the ladder on their way to economic independence. A hand-up and not a hand-out. We encourage an open interpretation to the overall brief and a would love to see a highly creative approach in the execution.

BRAND BRIEF
In your creative video we would like to explore how a microfinance funding organization can cross market with commercial mainstream brands. The purpose of the video is to attract chief marketing officers to engage a double bottom line partnership with the Foundation. Double-bottom line = profits with purpose.

Create a video for Seven Bar Foundation to drive cause-marketing initiatives with brands with the end results to ignite sustainable business as opposed to donation dependent models.

Please refrain from the typical "charity" related visuals and words, such as: "change the world", "make a difference" and "help"
