Due June 28th, 2010 - Students today do things differently. Rather than being packed into lecture halls and forced to sit in chairs that seem to have been designed to prevent comfort, more and more students have taken their classroom online.

We want to see how you’ve declared independence from the tyranny of the traditional classroom. Show us your classroom for a chance to win a $1,000 grand prize. All you have to do is make a short video that shows the world you’ve broken with tradition, that your classroom is anywhere you want it to be.

Declare Your Independence
Your video should give us a glimpse of your non-traditional classroom. If you always study in all-night coffee shops, give us a quick tour. If you’re a working mom fitting an online education in whenever you can, show us how you juggle family, life, and learning–all without dropping your laptop. Nomadic students can give us a taste of their classroom on the road. You’ve got two minutes to show us where you write those papers, study for those quizzes, and take those tests.

Contest Details
   1. Videos must be less than two minutes in length
   2. Five finalists will be selected from the 25 videos with the most views on our YouTube Channel, so tell your friends!
   3. Selection of finalists will be based on creativity, relevance, and popularity

Contestants must be at least 18 years of age at the time of entry and legal residents of the 50 United States and the District of Columbia.
