One story that will inspire the world. Yours.
Due August 29th, 2010 -
Living with the unpredictability and constant reminder of MS is incredibly difficult. MS is usually diagnosed in people between the ages of 20 and 40 years, at a time when they may be focusing on their careers, thinking of getting married or starting a family. Common symptoms include unexplained constant fatigue, loss of sight, loss of sensations, loss of balance, weakness, speech and swallowing problems. These symptoms can force people to redefine the way they live their lives, and sometimes even achieving simple everyday things can be a great challenge.
The goal of Real MS: Your Story is to show the world that life with MS can be redefined in a positive and fulfilling way. You come up with the story and a respected director, will help bring your story to life in a short film. Each film should explain, in its own way, how the everyday challenges of living with MS can be overcome.
Whether you are a professional screenwriter, a person living with MS or a lover of film with big ambitions, this is your chance to inspire the world with Your Story of MS.
To enter, all you have to do is submit your idea for the film plot in the form of a script concept. Script concepts should clearly describe your story and be no more than 250 words in length. If you choose, you can also upload an image or short video describing the inspiration for your concept. The image or video will be linked to your entry to inspire website visitors as they vote on the competition concepts.

Ten runners-up will receive a certificate of their achievement signed by the Director and a film goodie bag.
