In an effort to highlight innovative infection prevention practices nationwide and to showcase original ways of improving patient care, 3M Infection Prevention Division has launched the 3M™ Innovation Award YouTube™ Video Contest.
Infection prevention professionals are invited to upload a short original video to demonstrating how they have transformed patient care and helped reduce the incidence of HAIs.

Prizes
Public voting on videos that meet eligibility requirements will take place from September 20-October 8 and the winning video, which receives the most votes, will be announced on October 18 at the start of International Infection Prevention Week.
The winning video will receive a $5,000 education grant, as well as an expense-paid trip to 3M to meet with the Infection Prevention Division and participate in educational opportunities with 3M's Infection Prevention experts. Five runners-up will each receive a $1,000 educational grant.
Eligibility
The Contest is open to medical and infection prevention specialists, both individuals and departments, who are authorized to submit their video entry on behalf of their health care organization or facility and who have received prior authorization by that organization or facility to participate in this Contest. This is including, but not limited to: operating room nursing and physician staff, sterilization processing managers, hospital administrators, epidemiologists, infection preventionists, ICU nurses and physicians and healthcare professionals in the wards, who are legal residents of the fifty (50) United States (including D.C.), with the exception of Massachusetts and Vermont, and who are at least eighteen (18) years or older (19 in AL/NE) at the time of entry.
Create a :30 to :60 second spot demonstrating the Eucerin brand commitment while reinforcing that Eucerin has been pioneering Dermatological skincare and innovation over the past 100+ years and that we will continue that trend in the years to come. The top video will earn $7500 for its creator!
