Due August 15th, 2010 - Do you care about where your food comes from? Do you worry about the environmental impacts of imported food? Are you involved in a local food project that others could learn from? Maybe you wrote a song about your favourite vendor at the local farmers market. Or are a food producer out in the fields or the barn every day.

Whatever your story, we want to help you share your passion for local and Atlantic food with the rest of the world. The Eat Atlantic Video Contest is your chance to use creativity to help engage other Atlantic Canadians in the question of why and how we can choose more food from close to home.

The more people understand the benefits of local and Atlantic food, the farther along we will be in strengthening our economy, our communities, and our environment.

Prizes
A judging panel will select one winner per province (NB, NL, NS and PEI) and one winner from the Magdalen Islands from all entries received from all participating on-line entries at Co-op Atlantic. Each winner will receive a prize package consisting of a Dell Inspiron Mini laptop computer and a iPod Nano.

Eligibility
Contest is open to Atlantic Canadian residents (NB, NS, PE, NL, Magdalen Islands), age 13 and older.
