Due March 31st, 2012 - Aiming to seek, support and celebrate the impact of female drummers, Hit Like A Girl 2012 is the first ever drumming contest for girls and women— sponsored by leading drum equipment companies Crush, TRX, Vater, Evans, and SKB, along with major drum media companies, including Tom-Tom: The Magazine for Female Drummers, DRUM!, and others.

All contestants must include a short bio and a three-minute or longer video of them performing solo or with a band or other musical group. If the video is longer than three minutes only the first three minutes will be judged.

Eligibility
Any female drum set performer may enter. The are no restrictions on age or style. This contest is open to participants from all countries, however winners from territories outside North America may be responsible for any additional shipping costs as well as any local duties and/or fees. No drummer signed to a major label or in a major band is eligible.
