Due March 1st, 2014 - High school and UC students across CA are invited to develop 60-second films about suicide prevention or ending the silence about mental illness during the 2013/14 school year.

Submissions are accepted in two categories:
  1. Suicide Prevention PSA
  2. Ending the Silence of Mental Illness PSA

Prizes

High School Students
All regional winners will be invited to attend the award ceremony during Mental Health Awareness month in May where the winners will be announced and every film team will be recognized for their achievements.
 * Regional prizes in each category:
    - 1st place: $500 for the winning team + $500 to their school
    - 2nd place: $250 for the winning team + $250 to their school
    - 3rd place: $250 for the winning team + $250 to their school     
 * Statewide (2nd round) prizes in each category:
    - 1st place: $500 for the winning team + $500 to their school
    - 2nd place: $250 for the winning team + $250 to their school
    - 3rd place: $250 for the winning team + $250 to their school

UC Students
 * Campus round prizes in each category:
    - 1st place: $500
    - Honorable mention: $300
 * Statewide (2nd round) prizes in each category:
    - 1st place: $1,000
    - Honorable mention: $500

Eligibility
Any high school in California is eligible, including but not limited to: public, private, charter, alternative and home schools. Any UC campus student is eligible.
