Due April 20th, 2019 - Filmmaking is an art that is not as common in schools as drawing and sculpting. Without filmmaking, we wouldn’t have television, digital advertisement and movies/films to watch. If filmmaking is so significant in our modern society among youths, how do those with interest in film production get the practice and passion to become directors, cinematographers, and screenwriters?
The Laker Film Festival is a student-run Film Festival. They strive to showcase new and innovative films and fostering the next generation of filmmakers. The festival offers a night of award-winning high school films, panels, Q&A’s, networking and celebration. The festival also encourages students from all over New Jersey to bond over a common passion for the art of film.
