Due March 8th, 2019 - The League of Women Voters of Massachusetts is one of the most trusted non-partisan, a grassroots organization in Massachusetts, committed to influencing public policy through citizen education and advocacy. For more than ninety years, the League has been a leader in working to ensure that citizens have a free role in making democracy work. Women and men making a difference in the political future of our communities, state, and country.

Two important reports on climate change were recently released: the United Nations Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change Special Report and the US National Climate Assessment. Together, these reports sound the loudest alarm yet that devastating climate change is happening now and will continue to worsen without immediate, large-scale action.

The League of Women Voters has fought hard for climate action since the 1960s, and they continue the fight now. To help keep climate action at the top of the agenda, THEY NEED YOU to create videos that highlight one aspect of climate change and suggest a solution.

They will use your videos to help educate the public and elected officials about the dire threat of climate change. And you could win a cash prize!

Entries should be no more than 30 seconds in length.
