Due February 25th, 2019 - Minimum wage laws are meant to help workers by raising wages and preventing companies from exploiting employees. Do the laws succeed? Watch SITC’s video on the minimum wage, consult other sources, and create a video, arguing for or against minimum wage laws and proposals to raise the minimum wage. What are the unintended consequences to a minimum wage? How do these laws affect workers and businesses? Do these laws actually help poor people?

Teachers, help your students earn great prizes by entering them in Stossel in the Classroom's annual video contest! There are prizes for teachers, too! The teachers submitting winning videos also win the trip to New York! Teachers may submit an unlimited number of student videos.

Entries should be between 1 to 3 minutes in length.
