Due July 1st, 2020 - The PDX Recovery Film Festival is aimed at exhibiting works of art that promote hope and community around the struggle of addictions, mental health and homelessness. The audience includes people seeking recovery, those who have walked through recovery, workers in the field and the general public. The Festival values the experience of each person and believes in the power of sharing story as a way to promote change.

Films should be editorially diverse, portraying a wide range of ideologies, experiences, cultural backgrounds, opinions and identities. Bridges to Change and the PDX Recovery Film Festival hold equity and inclusion as core values and will use this as the foundation from which films are viewed and accepted. Films that showcase and address issues of equity in creative and informative ways will be prioritized. Films that are racist, sexist, homophobic, transphobic, ablest, ageist or are in any other way targeting a population negatively will not be considered.

Types of Films Accepted: Shorts, features, documentaries, music videos, stop animation, and all other films/videos of any length that deal with the subjects of addictions, mental health, homelessness and recovery.
