UFC Fight Pass Russian & Japanese Video Project
Create promo videos for UFC's FIGHT PASS streaming service.
Open Bid

Due May 26th, 2020 - Create slick promo videos for UFC's FIGHT PASS streaming service to introduce a new subscription option to the Japanese and Russian markets with every fight from UFC Fight Night and UFC's Pay-Per-View main cards.

UFC FIGHT PASS is the world’s premiere digital subscription service for global combat sports, and they're now preparing to launch a new subscription option in the Russian & Japanese markets that will enable subscribers to access all of the main card fights from UFC Fight Night and UFC Pay-Per-View, all for one monthly price. These are the best live events that UFC has to offer, but these fights have traditionally only been available on an individual transactional basis, so this new offering is a major value add.

UFC needs a localized video for each market to get audiences psyched about this value proposition and lay out what they can expect from UFC FIGHT PASS in their region. They expect to greenlight two creators - one per market - but are open to awarding this project to a single creator who can deliver both versions (please submit two separate pitches).

You will be responsible for language translation and localization for either Russia or Japan. UFC will provide local fighter footage relevant to each market. This project will also require some motion graphics and some animation, however, for brand consistency, you can leverage some formatting and visual design elements from this existing UFC FIGHT PASS sizzle video that was #MadeOnTongal last year. Project files for this asset can be found on the main contest page. They're not looking for editors to recreate that video; just use it as a foundation.

You'll need to create a :30 sample video for your pitch with the assets provided above, and any footage you'd like to pull from YouTube or what's publicly available on FIGHT PASS. Use your video to demonstrate how you'd approach the full sizzle, including how you'd handle on-screen text, graphic treatments, transitions, platform functionality, and music for the target region.

This is an open bid project, so you will get to set your own budget proposal within the $7,000-$10,000 range.
