Due October 15th, 2013 - Mexicali Blues is celebrating twenty-five years of discovering fun and funky apparel, gifts, and décor from all over the world. It’s been a great adventure, and now, Mexicali Blues wants to share an adventure with you.

Mexicali owners Pete and Kim Erskine need a couple of good travel buddies on their next buying trip to Bangkok, Thailand, in February of 2014. They’re looking for world-rovers and culture junkies who share the Mexicali ethos: an insatiable curiosity, a sense of humor, a love of the eclectic, and a passion for the journey rather than the destination.

To enter, record a one-minute video demonstrating why Mexicali Blues should “Share the Adventure” with you. How does your travel style embody the Mexicali vibe? What do you hope to do in Thailand and beyond? Are you on a mission? A quest? Share what makes you an awesome travel companion. Inspire us. Make us laugh. And let us know how you’re going to share the adventure once you’re out there — blogging? photos? performance art?

Grand Prize
Together with a friend, the winner of Mexicali’s Share the Adventure Contest will fly round-trip to meet Pete and Kim in Bangkok.  You'll be put up for five nights in a hotel in the city’s hopping Banglamphu district, and they’ll outfit you with two L.L. Bean backpacks, a couple of pairs of Thai fisherman pants, some Mexicali tees, and a Lonely Planet guidebook. That’ll get your adventure started, but you’ll choose the timing of your return ticket. Bangkok is the gateway to Asia, so where you go from there is up to you!

Your flights to Bangkok will be in February of 2014, and will be determined by Mexicali Blues, Inc.  Your return flights may be adjusted by you, with the agreement of Mexicali Blues, Inc. regarding specific dates, to allow you to craft your own adventure.  Your origination may be from any of the following airports, identified by their airline code: ANC, ATL, BOS, BWI, CLT, CVG, DCA, DEN, DFW, DTW, EWR, FLL, HNL IAD, IAH, JFK, LAS, LAX,  LGA, MCO, MDW, MIA, MSP, OAK, ORD, PHL, PHX, PIT, SAN, SEA, SFO, SLC, STL, TPA, or such other as may be approved by Mexicali Blues, Inc.

Eligibility
Open only to individuals who are legal residents of the 50 United States and the District of Columbia (excepting Rhode Island), who are 21 years of age or older at the time of entry.
