Scrabble, Game of Life, Hungry Hungry Hippos, Operation, Battleship, and Yahtzee – it’s almost like you leave the womb knowing how to play them.
We’ve all had some truly memorable experiences playing face-to-face, above one of these boards. Experiences that transcend beyond the action in the game and into real human bonds and emotion. A whole heck of a lot happens in the drama of playing a game - competition, learning, those very first emotions of winning and losing, camaraderie, and, most importantly, the connections.
Hasbro is asking the Tongal community to tell stories that will reintroduce the experience of these iconic games to our families and circle of friends. Think about what it means to open the box, unfold the board, to hold the pieces in your hands—to remember what the basement smelled like—remember what it was like to look across the board at your sibling, parent, friend, soon to be friend, connect and have fun.
The goal of this project is to create a 30-second to 1-minute video that communicates the fun and emotional connections that families and friends get from playing Hasbro games. The brand wants real, authentic and impactful stories that convey the many benefits of playing Hasbro games.
Stories should incorporate some combination of the following games:
• Game of Life
• Hungry Hungry Hippos
Don’t feel obligated to incorporate all of them into your Story. These videos should not feel like commercials or canned endorsements. Above all Hasbro wants authentic and organic feeling content.

Idea Awards (Submissions end 09/05/13)
The FOUR winning Idea creators will each receive $500 and a 5% one-time residual payment for every winning Video their Idea is used to generate.
Pitch Awards (Submissions accepted 09/10/13 through 09/16/13)
The FOUR most compelling Pitches will be selected and will each receive $1000 to help create their Videos. Those winners will also be GUARANTEED a winning place in the subsequent Video Phase.
Video Awards (Submissions begin 09/20/13)
First Place - $15,000
Second Place - $8,000
Third Place - $4,000
Fourth Place - $3,500
Fifth Place - $2,500

Create a short, sweet, and cheeky Video that highlights the iconic amenities at Caesars properties in Las Vegas and drives awareness for the leisure traveler to enjoy free WiFi available across their numerous properties.
