Due July 7th, 2014 - Everyone needs a good chuckle now again, especially when the chips are down and the going gets tough. They say laughter is the best medicine because humor can often make us feel better. Take a look at the following humorous words. Hopefully, they’ll lighten your day!

Look at the eight words below. Choose one. Take a close look at the definition in the brief to craft a story that conveys the word’s definition. Then, make a video, one minute or less, that effectively and creatively teaches the meaning of the word you’ve chosen.

The eight words you can choose from in this challenge are:
  1. Wry (adjective) – subtly humorous in a clever or sarcastic way
  2. Self-deprecating (adjective) – humor that makes fun of oneself
  3. Homespun (adjective) – homemade, simple, and folksy
  4. Folly (noun) – a lack of good sense, foolish behavior
  5. Irreverent (adjective) – disrespectful
  6. Vulgar (adjective) – rude
  7. Rueful (adjective) – sorry, regretful
  8. Levity (noun) – a lighthearted or carefree manner
