Due April 7th, 2017 - Created in 1986, Nespresso pioneered the portioned coffee segment and has been continuously innovating to deliver the highest quality coffee experiences to consumers worldwide. From the very beginning, the Nespresso concept has revolutionised the way people enjoy their coffee and has shaped our global coffee culture. But none of this would be possible without extraordinary talent.
Nespresso seeks out people who think differently, who are prepared to go further, push boundaries and demonstrate creativity in what they do. For this reason, Nespresso has supported or created platforms that recognize outstanding creativity and talent such as the Cannes Film Festival and “La Semaine de la Critique” or Berlin Film Festival and Berlinale Talents.
Storytelling is part of Nespresso's brand. They understand the power of immersing an audience into a story, and believe that there’s no greater medium for storytelling than film.
Nespresso seeks out people who think differently, who are prepared to go further, push boundaries and demonstrate creativity in what they do. For this reason, Nespresso has always supported or created platforms that recognize outstanding creativity and talent. Storytellers have an incredible power. They are able to provide hope, make us laugh, make us cry and change the world around them.
This year, Nespresso want to inspire filmmakers to create positive change in the world and champion filmmaking talent from around the world. By working with filmmakers, they want to create a rallying cry for a brighter tomorrow.
You have the power to change today. You can change it in a big way, you can change it in a small way. You can change the lives of others, or change something in yourself. You have the power to tell a story that makes the world laugh. You have the power to share a message that makes it pause for thought. You have the power to share an idea, a dream, a poem, a lesson. You have the power. Share something today and make a difference in the world. Every story is worth telling, so go tell your own.
Your story can take place in your home, in your neighbourhood, or in your classroom. It can feature your friends, family, or complete strangers. It can be a documentary about the real world, or a fictional world of your own creation. The only rule is that it must be shot in 9:16.
In this mobile world, more and more people are watching vertical video, so challenge yourself with this new format and see what you can create.
