Due November 15th, 2017 - An online competition leading to one of the year's most anticipated events, Move Mining is a competition designed to change the perception of an industry that's already changing the world. Focusing on an industry that impacts every aspect of our lives, with a focus to educate and promote the power of mining. The power to change the perception of mining on a global level through creativity, design, and ingenuity. Professional and personal growth by showcasing and demonstrating your passion for the industry through your concept. It's more than a competition, it's about meeting and learning about the industry and the professionals that make the industry great. Working with friends and coworkers to develop winning ideas, and to execute concepts that will make a lasting impact. A shark-tank style live event that brings excitement and intrigue to the SME Annual Conference & Expo where the finalist teams showcase their concepts.

You have your concept idea and now it’s time to share it with the world. Develop a promotional video about your concept that summarizes your concept. The video can be creative, fun and exciting. These videos will be the first impression the judges and the world will have about your concept.

Along with your video, there will be a required one-page abstract that includes the core elements of your concept. These abstracts will be crucial in providing supporting documentation for the finalist judging committee.

Videos must be less than 3-minutes long.

Grand Prize:
Private consultation on how to develop your idea from a leading expert or consultant in the appropriate field. The advice or commentary will be provided via email, phone, Skype, or other media, based on the expert's wishes.

Open to all entrants of 10 or more years of age and have Internet access, as of the date of submission.
