Due December 1st, 2017 - Since 2014, The NAMM Foundation has hosted 14 residencies in communities throughout the U.S. celebrating music education students and teachers, as well as school and community leaders who support music education opportunities for all students.

Submit a student made/faculty advised one-minute video that tells the story of “what makes music education great in your school district” by uploading your
original video to YouTube and providing the link online to the NAMM Foundation’s website.

Prizes

Grand Prize
One school district will be selected to receive a two-day residency with the John Lennon Educational Tour Bus, guided tours of the Bus as well as the opportunity for a group of students to work with Lennon Bus producers and engineers to write, record, and create a music video for an original song. During the two-day residency, The NAMM Foundation will host a town hall event to showcase music programs in the district and feature performing groups, teachers and school administrators sharing their stories of the value and importance of music education for school and community.

Eligibility
Open to faculty advisors in K-12 school districts with music programs within the Continental United States.
