Due November 13th, 2017 - Create 3 colorful and playful full portrait/vertical Instagram Stories that show tropical flavor is always in season with the exotic flavors of Bai Antioxidant Infused Drinks.

It’s November - which means we have officially traded in our summer clothing for big bulky sweaters, long days at the beach for nights by the fire, and Pina Coladas and rum punches for mulled ciders and pumpkin lattes. But just because the days have gotten shorter and the weather a little cooler, doesn’t mean you still can’t get a little taste of summer. In fact, with Bai Antioxidants Infused Drinks, tropical flavors are always in season. Offered in a variety of tasty, guilt-free flavors, you can break away from the bleak weather and slip back into the easy breezy summer mindset.

To help raise awareness of these delicious drinks with natural flavors, Bai is turning to you to create three colorful and playful Instagram Stories that communicate the product benefits and tie into their current campaign – that tropical flavor is always in season. It’s important that your Instagram Stories are visually driven, product-centric, with simple and short headlines that punctuate the good message of the product – 5 calories, low in sugar, and no artificial sweeteners. Show how you would disrupt the typical calorie-drenched holiday drink noise, and break through this winter season with Bai’s vibrant, tropical flavors.

Keep in mind, these Videos are meant for Instagram Stories. While the content should stay true to Bai’s larger brand creative vision and vibe, play with the creative techniques available to you.

Here’s what you need to know:
As these stories will ultimately be an extension of their previous campaign, be sure to check out the creative assets they used in past. These assets should be used as a source of inspiration – they’re not looking for creative concepts that are exact replicas. Explain what tricks you have up your sleeve and how you would bring the product benefits to life.

The product needs to be introduced up front – it is the hero of the spot. They’re open to stop motion or live action, or a mixture of both. Make sure to not feature talent in your Videos – hands are allowed.

The goal of this project is to create 3 colorful and playful full portrait/vertical Instagram Stories that creatively communicate that Bai Antioxidant Infused Drinks offer a variety of different tropical flavors that taste good and are good for you. Your Videos should be between :10-:15-seconds, no more than :15-seconds.

With each bottle infused with antioxidant-rich coffeefruit and flavored with the juice of exotic fruits, Bai’s beverages have proven that you don’t have to trade flavor for functionality. Their drinks offer bold flavor without sacrificing on taste – replacing the sugar slush with natural flavors that you can feel good about. When you’re brainstorming, keep this in mind and be sure that your overall messaging hits on the key product benefits – 5 calories, 1 gram of sugar, no artificial sweeteners.

Creatively, your Videos need to tie into around their current campaign – that tropical flavors are always in season. How would you get people to think about these delicious, exotic flavors when they’re getting bombarded with seasonal drinks? Bai is a fun and playful brand, and this should come through in your creative, both in the product messaging and the overall concept.

Prizes

Pitch Awards (Due 11/13/17)
The most compelling Pitch will be selected and, upon submitting the Winner’s Affidavit and the IP Assignment, will receive $3,500 to help create the Video. Additionally, upon submitting a Video that satisfies the criteria laid out in your winning Pitch, the Pitch winner will also be GUARANTEED a winning place in the subsequent Video Phase. So, if your Pitch is selected and you execute your Pitch effectively in your Video submission, you will win an additional $5,500.

Pre-Production (Due 11/21/17)
The Pitch Winner from the Pitch Phase will enter the Pre-Production Phase. During this phase, filmmakers will need to receive approvals from the brand.

   *SCRIPT
   *PHOTO BOARD
   *FOOD STYLIST

Video Awards (Due 11/29/17)
Once the Pre-Production Phase is complete, the Pitch Winner will create 3 15-second Instagram Story Videos. Upon delivery of the final Master Video files, the Pitch Winner will be paid out an additional $5,500. There are no residuals on this project.

Revisions (Due 12/6/17)
Once the Video Phase has closed, the winning submitters will enter the Revisions Phase. During this phase, filmmakers will perform reasonable edits on their Videos according to the Sponsor’s feedback. Once the Videos are finalized, the Sponsor will rank the Videos and winners will be announced.
