CrossFit Stories Video Contest 2026: Seven $5,000 Prizes

Tell a real story from the CrossFit community

CrossFit is inviting adult creators in seven participating countries to make a short video about how CrossFit has changed someone’s life physically, mentally, or socially. The contest rewards strong storytelling, cultural authenticity, and the ability to make viewers care about a genuine local experience.

Contest details

• Deadline: September 30, 2026, at 5:00 p.m. Pacific Time.
• Who can enter: Adults who are legal residents of South Korea, Italy, Spain, Germany, Australia, Aotearoa New Zealand, or France. Entrants must meet the age-of-majority rules for their country.
• Entry fee: Free.
• Video length: 60 seconds to three minutes.
• Format: MP4, MOV, or another format accepted by the official entry form.
• Language: Any language is permitted; videos not in English must include English subtitles.
• Multiple entries: Allowed when each submission is a separate, distinct video.

Prizes

CrossFit will select one winner in each of the seven country contests. Each winner receives US$5,000 in cash, creating a total Phase 1 prize pool of US$35,000.

What judges are looking for

Entries are judged on the strength of the story, the creator’s storytelling skill, authenticity and cultural relevance, and the creator’s potential to contribute to future CrossFit storytelling projects. The video should feel rooted in the entrant’s own market rather than like a generic fitness promotion.

Important rights terms

Entrants are responsible for releases and permissions covering every person and third-party asset in the video. Submission grants CrossFit a worldwide, perpetual, irrevocable, non-exclusive, transferable, sublicensable, royalty-free license to use, edit, adapt, translate, publish, distribute, display, perform, and create derivative works from the submission, including included name, voice, image, likeness, and biographical information, for marketing, promotional, editorial, and archival purposes.
