FESTIAV, the Valencia International Artificial Intelligence Film Festival, accepts recent AI-assisted shorts in several genres and languages. The rules cap films at 15 minutes and permit multiple submissions across categories. Creators retain their rights while granting the festival a limited, non-exclusive license for screenings and event promotion.

Contest details

• Deadline: October 4, 2026 at 11:59 p.m. GMT+1.
• Who can enter: Filmmakers age 18 or older worldwide. Films must have been completed after January 1, 2025.
• Entry fee: Submission fees start at €5 and may rise to €20 depending on the entry date.
• Prize: €1,000 for best fiction film, €500 for best historical film, and €250 each for comedy, horror, and Valencian-language winners.
• Video format: An AI-created short film up to 15 minutes, in 16:9 and at least 1080p. Entrants may submit one work per category and up to five works total.
