IVHQ Video Challenge 2026: Win Volunteer Program Credit
Use a real volunteer story to compete for your next program
The IVHQ Video Challenge is open to people who recently volunteered with International Volunteer HQ or are already booked to go. The brief is intentionally flexible: show daily life, review the experience, share the destination, or build a more cinematic mini-vlog.
Contest details
- Deadline: December 31, 2026.
- Who can enter: People worldwide age 16 or older who volunteered with IVHQ during the previous 12 months or are currently booked to volunteer and meet all program requirements.
- Entry fee: No separate contest fee is listed, but eligibility depends on a past or booked IVHQ program.
- Prizes: Two winners each receive up to US$929 in IVHQ credit: up to $329 for registration and $600 toward a program fee. Eligible recent participants may choose reimbursement of qualifying IVHQ fees. Flights and other travel costs are not included.
- Video format: A public YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, or Facebook video about the entrant’s IVHQ experience; there is no fixed duration.
How to enter
Publish the video publicly, tag IVHQ as required for the chosen platform, then submit the link through the official entry form. YouTube entries should mention IVHQ in the title and description. Videos must follow IVHQ child-protection and animal-welfare policies.
What judges want
The IVHQ team scores creativity, authenticity, storytelling, and alignment with its values. Strong entries should explain something concrete about the experience rather than relying on a generic travel montage.
Rights and prize obligations
By entering, creators allow IVHQ to use the video for promotion and agree to provide unwatermarked raw footage if requested. Winners also permit use of their name and entry in advertising and must provide additional approved photos, videos, and a blog after the prize trip. Review the travel costs, booking deadline, content obligations, and promotional-use terms carefully.
Read the official IVHQ Video Challenge rules and enter.
