Red Bull King of the Air 2026 kiteboarding video contest

Red Bull King of the Air Video Contest 2026

October 08, 2026

Put your five biggest kiteboarding moves into one focused minute

Red Bull King of the Air is not looking for a travel montage. The 2026 video entry is a competitive riding reel: up to five moves, regular speed, and footage strong enough to earn a path into the South Africa event.

Contest details

  • Deadline: October 15, 2026.
  • Who can enter: Skilled big-air kiteboarders worldwide who meet the event eligibility and safety requirements.
  • Entry fee: No entry fee is listed on the official video-contest rules page.
  • Opportunity: Selected riders can earn a place in the Red Bull King of the Air qualification pathway in South Africa.
  • Video format: A YouTube video no longer than one minute, containing no more than five moves; the best three moves count.

What the judges need to see

Use regular-speed footage that makes height, control, technical difficulty, and landing quality easy to evaluate. Do not use point-of-view or drone footage for the judged moves. Footage must have been recorded within the previous 12 months.

How to enter

Edit the riding reel, upload it to YouTube, and follow the official Red Bull submission instructions before the deadline. Confirm the event window, travel requirements, athlete terms, and safety expectations before committing.
