SAFI Hijabista Aerodance Challenge 2026: RM15,500 in Cash Prizes

Turn an original aerodance routine into a one-take social video

The SAFI Hijabista Aerodance Challenge brings together online video and a live team final. Malaysian university and college students form groups of five to ten, record a continuous two-to-three-minute routine, and publish it on TikTok or Instagram for a chance to reach the November finale.

Contest details

• Deadline: October 11, 2026 at 11:59 p.m. Malaysia time.
• Who can enter: Malaysian citizens living in Malaysia, age 18 or older, who are currently enrolled at a Malaysian university or college recognized by the Ministry of Higher Education. Teams need 5–10 members and at least four female participants.
• Entry fee: No entry fee or purchase requirement is listed.
• Prizes: RM3,000 for first, RM2,500 for second, RM2,000 for third, RM1,000 for each of seven consolation winners, and a RM1,000 Best Video Engagement award.
• Video format: A two-to-three-minute vertical or horizontal video filmed in one continuous take with every team member visible.

What your team must create

The performance must mix dance with aerobic or fitness movement, use original choreography, and include the required clapping-hands-above-the-head movement. Clear audio and video matter, but edits and cuts are not allowed.

Publish the entry on TikTok or Instagram, tag the specified Remaja and SAFI accounts, include every official hashtag, and send the post link through the organizer’s submission form. Keep the account public and the video available until the competition is over.

What happens after the online round?

The ten highest-scoring groups advance to a live grand finale scheduled for November 7. The full team must attend with the same composition, subject to the organizer’s limited replacement process. Finalists must also prepare the required official-jingle arrangement and follow the event’s dress, footwear, safety, and music-delivery rules.

Rights terms to read carefully

Participants grant the organizer a perpetual, worldwide, royalty-free license to use names, photos, videos, recordings, performances, and related contest content for publicity and marketing without additional payment. Entrants also remain responsible for music, choreography, and other permissions. Review that language before posting.
