Stossel in the Classroom’s 2026–27 competition gives middle school, high school, and undergraduate students a platform to make an argument, sharpen communication skills, and compete for cash prizes.

- Deadline: March 12, 2027 at 11:59 p.m. Eastern.
- Eligibility: Grades 5–8, grades 9–12, and undergraduate college students in the United States or Canada, including students using a U.S. military address.
- Entry fee: Free.
- Prize pool: More than $13,000.
- Team policy: Students may collaborate, but only the student named on the entry form is eligible to receive a prize.
