Share a young creator’s view of America in one focused minute

WoodmenLife’s annual student video contest returns with a special 250th-anniversary theme. Entries are judged in two age divisions, and the public is scheduled to vote for favorites on Facebook from October 14–21 before winners are announced October 27. A clear personal point of view will be more memorable than trying to cover every part of the country’s story.

Contest details

• Deadline: October 7, 2026.
• Who can enter: Students in grades K–12 across the United States, with separate K–8 and 9–12 divisions.
• Entry fee: Free.
• Prize: Each division awards $2,500 for first place, $1,500 for second, and $1,000 for third to the winners’ schools.
• Video format: An original 30–60 second video celebrating the United States’ 250th anniversary and explaining what America means to the student.
